On October 22, 2024, Hai Nam proudly participated in the Top 20 Outstanding Projects Recognition Day of the Plastic Circular Innovation Challenge (PCIC) 2024 in Hanoi. The competition aims to promote innovative solutions addressing plastic pollution in Vietnam, paving the way for sustainable development and fostering a circular economy.
In the final round, Hai Nam made a strong impression with two standout solutions:
- Top 20 Outstanding Projects: “The Role of Flexible Packaging Manufacturers.”
- Top 2 Promising Solutions: “Alternatives to Aluminum Laminated Packaging.”
These achievements are not only a recognition of Hai Nam’s efforts in research and innovation but also reaffirm the company’s pioneering role in promoting sustainable development in the plastic packaging industry and advancing the values of a circular economy.
PCIC 2024 provided a valuable platform for businesses, startups, and individuals to share ideas, connect with investors, and raise awareness about solutions to plastic waste. The event featured over 15 booths showcasing green technologies and breakthrough solutions, including Hai Nam’s two outstanding projects.
Held for the first time, the competition attracted nearly 100 ideas from over 1,000 individuals and organizations nationwide, highlighting a strong commitment to building and developing a circular economy. The event was graced by senior leaders, representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Unilever Vietnam, Standard Chartered Bank, the British Embassy, along with investors and international experts. Notable inspirational speeches from Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Cong Thanh, Mr. Fergus McBean – First Secretary for Climate and Nature, British Embassy in Vietnam, and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bich Van – General Manager of Unilever Vietnam, further motivated the teams to continue turning their creative solutions into reality.
